10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.:  Explore Griffith Park Observatory

1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.:  Soak in Old Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Hollywood/Highland Shopping Center, Wax Museum, Stars Walk of Fame, souvenir gift shops, eateries, etc.

WZCC MEETING

A Day at the Getty

Spend the day exploring the Getty and experience the most expensive museum in the world! Take the tram up to the $1.3 billion dollar travertine building as you marvel at the gorgeous estates in the Santa Monica Mountains. Once you enter the museum grounds, enjoy its architecture by Richard Meyer, the breathtaking gardens, and the art exhibits. The views from the Getty and of the Getty itself will “wow” you! Cost: $49

Santa Barbara Wine Tour

California’s Central Coast is considered one of the State’s Premier wine regions, and for several grapes, rivals the famous Napa and Sonoma AVA’s.  You’ll enjoy the scenic drive up to Santa Ynez passing through Santa Barbara and Lake Cuchuma.  The day will consist of visiting 3 to 4 very different wineries, with a stop for lunch at a quaint local restaurant.  Make sure to have a good breakfast and bring some water.  Santa Barbara is sometimes referred to as the American Riviera.  Its beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, and colorful culture make Santa Barbara a premier resort destination.  Note: While this event is open to everyone, only participants aged 21 years and above will be able to participate in wine tasting activities.  Wine Tasting and Lunch not included.  All Transportation included (pick-up/drop-off at LAX Hilton Hotel).  Cost: $99
