Cancellation Policy

Registration and admission to various events are subject to capacity restrictions.

The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any event in the event that circumstances beyond its control warrant such cancellation.

Children aged 12 and under will be served meals selected from a special Kids’ Menu.

Children under 6 years of age will not be allowed in the regular Congress sessions, except for certain parts of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Parents are responsible for ensuring that attendance at these ceremonies does not cause disruption. Babysitting services will be provided for children aged 4 and under. A Zoroastrian Children’s Program will be available for children aged 5–12 years. The Congress will also offer a Teen Track for children aged 13-17 years.

Cancellation Policy:  A $30 penalty will be levied for cancellation requests received by midnight (PST), on November 30, 2014.  All cancellations will be confirmed by email and a check for the refund will be sent within 60 days thereafter.  No request for refunds will be entertained on or after December 1, 2014.

Can attendees pay registration fees via a credit card?
Yes. Once registration opens, you will be able to register and make payments using our secure server.  We accept payment by personal check, American Express, MasterCard, VISA or Discover.
May non-Zoroastrians register for the Congress?
Yes. Anyone with an interest in Zoroastrianism, including non-Zoroastrian spouses, significant others and their families, are welcome to register for the Congress.
May we register to attend only some days or some programs of the Congress?
No. Registrants must register for all three days of the Congress.
Do we have to register for the Congress to attend the New Year’s Eve Gala?
Yes. The New Year’s Eve Gala is open to all Congress registrants for an additional charge of $125 per person. Space permitting, the event will be open to non-registrants after November 16, 2014 for $150 per person. It is advisable to book early for this popular event.
Do children 5 years and under have to register for the Congress?
Yes. There is a special registration rate for children and special children’s programming is offered for various age groups. Children aged 12 years and under will be served meals from a Kids’ Menu.
What are the benefits of registering children for the Congress?
Parents can enroll registered children under 5 years of age for on-site babysitting services by community members during the sessions.A Zoroastrian Children’s Program will be available for ages 5-12 years. This will include class time, arts and crafts and games relating to Zoroastrianism. We will also offer a few Teen Track sessions, which will attempt to utilize modern technology to engage teens in getting to know each other as well as learning about their religion and culture. All children’s programming will run parallel to, or in coordination with, the adult sessions of the Congress.
Can my child accompany me to the adult sessions?
We recommend that registered children avail themselves of children’s programming at the Congress. If necessary, children may accompany their parents to an adult session, for brief periods of time, as long as they are not disruptive to the discussion.
I have registered. When I reach the venue, where should I collect my registration package?
Registration check-in for the event will be open on the second floor lobby of the Hilton LAX on the afternoon of Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. At this time, you will be given your registration package. The registration desk will also be open at published times on the first day of the Congress: Monday, December 29, 2014. Please visit our website closer to the event for exact dates and times.
What should we bring to obtain our registration package?
Please bring your confirmation of registration and a photo ID to obtain your registration packet. An electronic copy of the confirmation email may also be shown on your phone.
How do find out more information regarding the visa process for visiting the United States for the Congress?
Our website provides information pertaining to the Congress, which may help you to procure a visa.
Do I have to book my hotel when registering for the Congress?
No. Hotel bookings are made directly with the hotel. Please use special offer booking code “NAC” when making your reservation to get the special rate of $107 (plus tax) per night for Congress registrants.  This rate will be available from December 26, 2014 to January 3, 2015.
